Keeping tabs on $1 million

ONE lucky punter scored the perfect Melbourne Cup winning himself $1 million backing champion Rekindling on the TAB’s Cup Millionaire Promotion.

Dominic from Mill Park in Melbourne, earned his chance at the $1 million after he was randomly selected after placing a bet with TAB in races 1-4 at Flemington. His bet was a $5 each-way crack at Land of Plenty in Race 3, which ran second. Dominic then had the opportunity to tip the Cup winner for $1 million, selecting $15 chance Rekindling.

“I was just numb. It’s a surreal feeling and I’m still in shock,” he said. “I never could have imagined this.”
