ROYAL REVIEW FOR BATON IN SINGAPORE

HIS Royal Highness the Prince of Wales previewed the GC2018 Queen’s Baton last week in Singapore during its history-making journey through the Commonwealth.

The heir to the British throne and his wife Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, met with athletes and para athletes who are aiming to represent Singapore at the Games including 2014 table tennis gold medallist Clarence Chew.

Chew was tasked with presenting the royal couple with the Baton which carries a message from Her Majesty The Queen. On April 4, 2018, the Baton will arrive at the Opening Ceremony of and Prince Charles, will declare the XXI Commonwealth Games open.
