A MATTER OF STYLE

TWO TAFE Queensland Gold Coast students have created the winning design for what will be one of the most popular outlets in the GC2018 Commonwealth Games Village, the hair and beauty salon.

Chad Becker and Garnet Evans presented the winning design called Salon XXI.

The salon will feature massage, manicure and pedicure, haircuts, hair braiding and brow styling spaces for athletes.

Garnet said the opportunity for students to participate in the creation and development of a space within the Games Village was invaluable.
