Surfers gets street smart

DEVELOPERS building in Surfers Paradise will soon has a strict list of rules they must follow when it comes to footpaths at the front of their projects.

The Gold Coast City Council planning committee recommended a 30-page document be adopted which sets out what type of pavers, trees and bicycle racks must be used when developing in Surfers Paradise.

Guidelines are already in place in Broadbeach.
