BRISBANE chairman Bob Sharpless has resigned after months of conflict of interest claims over the AFL club’s planned new training base.
Deputy chairman Andrew Wellington is tipped to take over.
Sharpless walked away after conflict of interest concerns arose over the Lions’ plans to relocate their training base to Springfield.
Sharpless is deputy chairman of Springfield Land Corporation – major partners in the AFL club’s relocation plans.
