Claxton tips big recovery

THE Hockeyroos’ disappointing Olympic campaign was a wake-up call and a rejuvenated side is building strongly towards April’s Commonwealth Games, leadership group member Jane Claxton says.

The Hockeyroos are taking on teams – including world No.1 Netherlands – at the International Festival of Hockey at Parkville in Victoria, but the Gold Coast Games are not far from their minds.

The Hockeyroos have turned to youth, a new coach and a new style.
