Kitty‘s new spin on life
MIRACLE cat Manace is recovering well at his Currumbin Valley home, two days after suffering his washing machine ordeal.
As reported in the Bulletin yesterday, the 18-year-old cat was knocked unconscious after slipping into his owner’s washing machine and going through a 45-minute cycle.
Owner Jacqui Wood said Manace was still lethargic, but had been hungry which was a positive sign.
“He loves chicken and Whiskas pouches,” she said, adding he was getting a little bit extra. “His pain patch comes off (today) ... but it hurts him still when he’s picked up.”
She said he had been spending a lot of time sleeping. “I don’t think he will ever go back into the washing machine.”
