Driverless bus in bingle

A DRIVERLESS shuttle bus has crashed less than two hours after it was launched in Las Vegas.

Officials hosted an unveiling ceremony to promote what they called the US’s first selfdriving shuttle pilot project geared toward the public.

But not long after it was launched police were called to the scene of a crash between the vehicle and a semi-trailer.

Las Vegas police cited the driver of the semi-trailer.

Officer Aden OcampoGomez said the ticket was for illegal backing.
