Start-up entrepreneurs to find a common Bond

THE brightest entrepreneurial minds will share their experiences of launching start-ups at Bond University’s free Demo Day this Wednesday.

They will also highlight the advantages of programs such as Bond Business Accelerator, Somerset’s Celebration of Entrepreneurship, F’Up Nights Gold Coast, Queensland Venturer Program, Hot DesQ and Qantas AVRO Accelerator.

Bond University’s head of entrepreneurship Dr Baden U’Ren (pictured), said the event provided a platform for entrepreneurs to learn from each other and present to key industry leaders, investors, government representatives and the local community.

“There are so many bright ideas out there. However, finding the platform to launch these to the right people can be challenging,” he said.

Presenters will include Sarah Pearce and Tim Jones, co-founders of Travelshoot, a company that connects travellers with trusted photographers around the world. They will discuss their experience with Qantas Arvo Accelerator.
