Forise gets Spirit of Oz

FORISE, the Chinese group building a super-tower in Surfers, is using some Aussie funding to raise its $1.2 billion Spirit.

It’s emerged that Forise has borrowed from Sydney realestate debt specialist MaxCap for land-cost refinancing and to fund early work on the 89floor tower.

Spirit will have seven basement levels and it’s reputedly costing $44 million just to get the project to the point of seeing the light of day on the $65 million site of the former Iluka high-rise.
