House up in flames

AN Upper Coomera one-storey home was gutted by fire yesterday afternoon.

Neighbours used garden hoses to try and put out the fire but the blaze was too large.

It took firefighters an hour to put out the flames.

Three fire crews and Energex attended the blaze on Vivacity Dr which was called in at 12.20pm.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The owner of the home was reportedly working in Brisbane at the time of the fire.
