Kindness is arresting
A GOLD Coast police liaison officer has been recognised for his compassion and kindness towards people in difficult circumstances.
Naomichi Hirano, aka Nao, was yesterday named winner of the Ambassador’s Prize as part of World Kindness Day celebrations. Renowned as a kind soul with a quirky sense of humour, Nao was nominated for the honour by Coast locals.
World Kindness Day was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement to mark the organisation’s first conference in Tokyo.
