BUCKET LIST FOR SCHOOLIES

There are a whole host of activities on offer for the hordes of schoolies about to descend upon the Gold Coast

SCHOOLIES will lap up the surf, sand and sun as a priority while on the Gold Coast but top of their bucket lists will likely be adrenaline-infused water sports and hitting new heights.

With social media a huge part of school leavers’ lives, climbing Mt Warning, taking on the Q1 tower’s SkyPoint Climb, Movie World’s new DC Rival HyperCoast­er and parasailin­g will be musts during end-ofyear celebratio­ns.

Inspire has pulled together the top 25 things Schoolies should do while on the Glitter Strip.

SCHOOLIES’ BUCKET LIST

1. Cuddle up to a Meter Maid or Meter Man

2. Get a photo with a police officer

3. Go parasailin­g on the Broadwater or go jet boating 4. Hit the theme parks 5. Have a sunset picnic at Burleigh Headland

6. Check out Miami Marketta or the Night Quarter

7. Visit the Crazy Cat Cafe in Surfers Paradise

8. Cruiser bike ride along the foreshore as far as your legs will carry you

9. Have a mocktail or cocktail (for over 18s only) at The Island Rooftop

10. Grab a surf board or stand up paddle board and give

walking on water a go

11. Hire a round boat or party pontoon on the Broadwater. Stop on Wavebreak Island for a barbecue and beach cricket

12. Jump on a snorkel tour to or head to Cook Island or head to Currumbin Rock Pools for a dip

13. Hot Air Balloon trip across the city at dawn

14. Go on a beach crawl from top to toe you’ve got: Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Kurrawa Beach, Mermaid Beach, Miami Beach, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Kirra Beach, just to name a few.
