WHEN OUR BEACHES ARE PATROLLED:

● There are 21 surf lifesaving clubs patrolling on weekends from 8am to 5pm. In summer school holidays, patrols run from 7am to 6pm.

● Gold Coast City Council lifeguards patrol 39 flagged areas daily from 8am to 5pm.

● Surf Life Saving Queensland’s Dawn Patrol runs from 4.30am to 8.30am daily between Miami and The Spit.

● The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter patrols the Gold Coast twice daily on weekends and school holidays.

● Surfers Paradise’s Dusk Patrol from 6pm to 11pm keeps swimmers out of the water on the 20 busiest days of summer.
