HEARING specialist Don Hudson of A1 Discreet Hearing Aids says now is the time to organise a new set of hearing aids prior to the Christmas holiday season.

“We always have an influx of customers in the two weeks before Christmas and it’s important to remember that it takes two weeks to manufacturer a hearing aid,” Mr Hudson said.

“Then it takes another two weeks to adjust to the new devices. So if you are looking for a new set of devices to hear more clearly while socialising over the festive season, now is the time to organise doing so.”

Mr Hudson said A1 Discreet Hearing Aids specialised in discreet devices and most customers were fitted with fully automatic devices so wearers could insert the aids and forget about them.

“Technology available at A1 includes features that will recognise more than 10 different noise sources individually within less than a second, and reduce them appropriately, while enhancing any speech frequencies that may be present at the same time,” he said.

A1 is located at Q Super Centre in Mermaid Waters, The Tweed Day Surgery in Tweed Heads and the Coolangatta Medical Centre.

All clients get a free hearing assessment and consultation.
