Rider flying school zone

A MOTORCYCLIST has been hit with a $2530 fine after he was caught doing almost three times the speed limit through a school zone in northern NSW.

The 18-year-old was clocked at 110km/h in the 40km/h school zone at Lismore yesterday morning, NSW Police said.

He returned a negative reading when breath tested nearby, but had his licence suspended in addition to being hit with the fine.
