Pilots get new singer

GRUNGE rockers Stone Temple Pilots are back with a new frontman after their previous two singers died.

The band, a leading force in the 1990s grunge scene led by Scott Weiland, received 15,000 applicatio­ns for the role.

Weiland died of an overdose in 2015. He had already been replaced before his death by Chester Bennington who left the band amicably and earlier this year killed himself.

The band marked their rebirth this week with the song Meadow featuring Jeff Gutt, the singer from Dry Cell. A GOLDILOCKS dilemma hangs over pregnant women as an extensive study shows that having a BMI which is “just right” can prevent birth complicati­ons and even death.
