MASSIVE SIZE DOLPHIN FISH BEING NABBED

IT looks like the really big snapper have moved on but we are still seeing some good eating-size ones being caught on the 18 and 24 fathom reefs.

Out wider on the 50 fathom reef the strong current has made it difficult, but the odd big kingfish has been caught.

Some 20kg-plus dolphin fish were caught this week in about 300m of water. In the seaway there are great reports of nice jewfish on live baits at the end of the northern wall.
