Big returns for super
SUPERANNUATION fund members are reaping the benefits of one of Australia’s longest bull sharemarkets, with investment returns of more than 10 per cent forecast for the year to December.
Research companies Chant West and SuperRatings say the average super fund added a further 2.3 per cent from investment returns during the month of October, to take the increase during the past 10 months to almost 9 per cent.
“A surge in October has left super funds in sight of a double digit return for the 2017 calendar year,” Chant West director Warren Chant said yesterday.
