Trials loom for netball

NOMINATIONS for the Northern Gold Coast Netball Association representative team trials close tomorrow.

Teams for the under-12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18 ages, as well as the open women’s and men’s sides, will be chosen at the trials which run from November 22-25.

All trials will be at either Coomera Indoor Sports Centre or Coomera Anglican College, with those interested to contact ngcnarep@gmail.com.

The looming trials come just days after the NGCNA had players selected in the Golden South Jaguars teams for the 2018 open and under-19 competitions.

Reilley Batcheldor and Annabelle Lawrie (19s) will be joined by shadow squad members Bailey Stephens, Mackenzie Jordan, Maddie Hall, Olivia Dykstra and Etelini Roberts.

Laura King and Jess McDonald are in the open side while Nyla Vainikolo is a training partner.
