Kiwis’ Levi set to fire

JARED Waerea-Hargreaves says young hooker Danny Levi will bring impressive raw energy to the Kiwis for tomorrow’s World Cup quarterfinal clash against Fiji in Wellington.

Levi has looked solid in the Cup so far, playing all three Tests from the bench since his debut at the pool stage.

The Newcastle hooker has earned a promotion in place of Thomas Leuluai, dropped after New Zealand’s 28-22 loss to Tonga in Hamilton last week.

“I think Danny, he brings that energy,” tough prop Waerea-Hargreaves said.
