Cash pledge for school
THE LNP has promised $2 million to upgrade the Labrador State School – one of the largest schools in the marginal seat of Bonney.
LNP shadow minister for communities, women and youth Ros Bates said the funding was a part of the LNP’s infrastructure plan.
“This is going to be a job boosting opportunity here in Labrador,” she said.
Labor candidate Bonney Rowan Holzberger said the ALP had already promised $500,000 to build a new administration building at the school.
Mr Holzberger said the ALP had also promised $10 million to build new classrooms at Southport special school.
