Mum’s ball turns into brawl

A GOLD Coast mum who had her head stomped on at a bachelor and spinsters ball in regional Victoria has spoken from her hospital bed about the fight which left her with serious head and neck injuries.

Ariel Kelly, 22, says she was attacked after trying to protect a friend during the fight at Tooradin on Saturday night.

“I ended up just getting smashed into wood paling, my head got jumped on, I got kicked a few times,” Miss Kelly told Nine News.

“It was a pretty huge fight. A lot of people were involved, so it was quite scary,” she said.

Two men, aged 22 and 24, were also hospitalised with serious injuries.
