Title:

Sun Warrior: Tales of a New World 2

Author: P.C. Cast

Publisher: Pan Macmillan Australia ★★★★

THE author throws you in where the last Sun Warrior book left its heroes Nik and Mari.

But unlike the first book, which was a little shaky to start, Cast this time easily engages the readers and keeps them wanting more.

The fascinating world of Sun Warrior is full of intrigue and hope.

Set many years after the world fell apart, Nik — a Companion and part of the Tribe of the Trees — used to live in the forest until fire swept through and tore his tribe apart.

Mari, a Moon Woman and leader of the Earth Walker Clan Weaver, struggles to hold on to her clan as their males are scattered and plagued by Night Fever and a terrible disease.

Thaddeus is filled with rage and an insatiable desire for more power.

He sees the fire as Nik and Mari’s fault, even though he caused it and killed Nik’s father, the Tribe’s Sun Priest.

Nik and Mari must work together to create a new people before it’s too late and Thaddeus hunts them down in search of revenge.

Go on a wild journey of power, unlikely relationships, betrayal and acceptance in this thrilling sequel.
