Bobo keen to up tally

-

THE statistics tell the story, but only part of it.

Sydney FC star Bobo has scored 12 goals in less than four months – seven in four FFA Cup ties and five in seven games in the A-League.

No wonder his Sydney coach Graham Arnold believes he’s as fit as he has ever been in a career that has taken in toplevel European football, and the striker himself is buzzing with confidence.

Even if four of the 12 came against a team of part-timers from Darwin, and a couple of the A-League goals were penalties, Bobo is still the leading scorer in the FFA Cup and second top in the A-League.

Adding to those tallies tonight would go a long way to securing a first FFA Cup title for the Sky Blues against Adelaide at Allianz Stadium.

Sydney have Adrian Mierzejewski fit to play, while Adelaide, buoyed by a 2-1 away win over the Central Coast last Thursday, have a fully fit squad for the final.
