Centre of Jillaroos thinking

-

BURLEIGH’S Zahara Temara will line up at left centre for the Australian Jillaroos in tomorrow’s final World Cup pool match against Canada.

Temara was part of the Australian team that beat the Cook Islands 58-4 in their opening World Cup game and will return for the country’s final pool match leading into this weekend’s semi-finals.

Canada have so far recorded a 50-4 loss to New Zealand and 22-8 win over PNG.

“Canada has displayed great skill in their first two matches and were classy in their last match, with a win against Papua New Guinea,” coach Brad Donald said.

“They’ve got plenty of players throughout their team that are capable of putting on tries and from an Australian point of view, we’ll be continuing to focus on our defence.”

The match is at Southern Cross Group Stadium from 4pm.
