Cyclists on road to glory
AUSTRALIAN cyclists have shone at the Oceania track cycling championships.
World champion Jordan Kerby, who took out the men’s 4000m individual pursuit in 4:13.529.
Australian Stephanie Morton won the women’s keirin, while compatriot Josh Harrison prevailed in an all-Australian sprint finish to grab the men’s 15km scratch race.
Meanwhile, Kirstie James and Zac Williams stepped out of the shadows of more illustrious New Zealand teammates with wins at the titles.
James made it three titles in two days in Cambridge with victory in the women’s 3000m individual pursuit yesterday.
