Cyclists on road to glory

AUSTRALIAN cyclists have shone at the Oceania track cycling championsh­ips.

World champion Jordan Kerby, who took out the men’s 4000m individual pursuit in 4:13.529.

Australian Stephanie Morton won the women’s keirin, while compatriot Josh Harrison prevailed in an all-Australian sprint finish to grab the men’s 15km scratch race.

Meanwhile, Kirstie James and Zac Williams stepped out of the shadows of more illustriou­s New Zealand teammates with wins at the titles.

James made it three titles in two days in Cambridge with victory in the women’s 3000m individual pursuit yesterday.
