More than 500 Gold Coasters joined our #SnapGoldCo­ast campaign yesterday, sharing shots of our wonderful city.

WELL done Gold Coast!

We called on you to celebrate your city with our #SnapGoldCo­ast campaign and you did just that.

Yesterday more than 500 Gold Coasters posted on the Bulletin’s Instagram, while dozens more posted on Twitter and Facebook.

Photos of backyard pools, beaches, landscapes and pets were shared, to show off the great city we live in.

TV personalit­y Liz Cantor posted to support #SnapGoldCo­ast and #SnapAustra­lia, while Gold Coast Councillor, William Owen Jones, posted a photo from Oxenford’s Gold Coast Wake Park on Twitter.

Tourism Minister Steve Ciobo posted an iconic shot of the Surfers Paradise skyline, taken from Chevron Island, where his office is located.

The campaign was part of a national News Corp initiative in partnershi­p with Canon Australia and Harvey Norman Photo Centre.
