Roar sense Sydney are vulnerable

-

BRISBANE Roar intend to spoil Sydney FC’s party at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

If there’s a good time to get the reigning A-League champions, it’s this weekend.

The Sky Blues go into the match after playing two hours of football on Tuesday night, when they beat Adelaide United 2-1 in the FFA Cup final.

Star Milos Ninkovic limped off in the 62nd minute, while player-of-the-match Adrian Mierzejewski is another who may struggle to back up.

“I’m pretty sure there are going to be a couple of changes to the Sydney team,” Roar coach John Aloisi said.

A Sydney FC spokesman remained hopeful Ninkovic would play.

Sydney’s Brazilian striker Bobo, who scored the extratime winner, said it would be business as usual this weekend.

“We can take a lot of confidence from (the Cup win) but we’ve still got a job to do on Saturday and we look forward to the next game,” Bobo said.
