Bandits face snubbed four

BRISBANE Bandits go up against the four Tampa Bay players they had to pass on when they play their first away game of the season in Perth tomorrow night.

Brisbane hosted Tampa Bay MLBcontracted players in each of their past two title-winning seasons.

But the activity of the Bandits in recruiting Americans from other sources and Taiwanese players meant they could not take all four Tampa players at their club under ABL import rules.
