TWO weeks after introducing men in tight golden shorts, the Gold Coast Meter Maids have unveiled Boss the Tibetan spaniel. The iconic brand’s first-ever Meter Mutt hit the streets this week with the pooch’s owner, Meter Maid Felicia Aden. “Poor Felicia felt a bit left out the other day – everyone wanted to get a photo with the dog,” Meter Maids brand owner Roberta Aitchison said.

THE iconic Gold Coast Meter Maids – who recently added hunky males to the ranks – have a new sidekick: the Meter Mutt.

Boss the Tibetan spaniel proved a major hit with tourists and schoolies during her first shift with owner and Meter Maid Felicia Aden on Tuesday.

The pair took to the streets of Surfers Paradise with Miss Aden in her golden bikini and three-year-old Boss decked out in a sparkly collar and cute hat.

Meter Maids brand owner Roberta Aitchison, who two weeks ago introduced Meter Males wearing tiny golden shorts, said the pooch was a major drawcard: “Poor Felicia felt a bit left out the other day – everyone wanted to get a photo with the dog,” Ms Aitchison said.

The idea for a Meter Mutt came about when Miss Aden, 24, said she’d be happy to do solo shifts and Ms Aitchison offered Coco, her pet pomeranian, for company.

“Felicia said she had her own little dog Boss at home. When we start doing the Boss range of T-shirts, singlets and bikinis it will up sales,” Ms Aitchison said.

“Right now people are happy to get a photo with the dog and a cuddle.”
