TACKLE THE ULTIMATE PLAYDATE

- NICHOLAS MCELROY

IT’S the playdate no Gold Coast kid will want to miss.

The likes of Sesame Street, Lego and My Little Pony will converge on Cbus Super Stadium these school holidays to offer a unique family experience.

Holiday Playdate is a three-day event which will make its Australia debut at the home of the Gold Coast Titans next month.

Other play zones include Nerf toys and an Ice Age ice rink, while giant versions of Operation, Connect 4 and Scrabble will also keep the kids entertained.

Titan Jai Arrow warmed up for the TEG Liveorganised event yesterday with tackle practice which included Elmo, teammate Max King and Cookie Monster.

“It's a new concept in family entertainment bringing all family brands into one place,” local promoter Fred Porter said. “It’s the first time it’s been hosted in Australia, and we’ve started it here on the Gold Coast.”

It takes place from December 15 to 17 and tickets are on sale now.
