FORGET musical theatre with a twist – two of London’s naughtiest cabaret stars are heading to the Gold Coast to bend your favourite showstoppers into hilarious new shape.

Splashtastic British cabaret stars Le Gateau Chocolat and Jonny Woo are bathing-suited up and ready to roll audiences in the aisles when they bring their rollicking hit A Night at the Musicals to The Arts Centre Gold Coast on January 12-13. The spectacle breathes strange new life into hits from stage musicals including Les Miserables, The Lion King, Wicked, Grease, Cabaret and Annie.

“You get some great singing, but we put a ‘spin’ on some of our favourite show tunes and routines, such as my Liza meets Mickey Mouse Mein Herr lap dance,” Woo says.

The show is produced by Strut & Fret, the creative team behind hit adultsonly cabaret Blanc de Blanc.
