Yabbies work well but you can’t beat beach worms as bait.

Try live dropping a live bait in the deep holes of the Pin and Southport Seaway for jewfish – there are a lot around.

We have a prolific amount of sand crabs around at the moment, drop your pots anywhere north of Sovereign Island and you should do well.
