Bond coaching revamp

BOND University have overhauled their coaching structure as they strive to rebound from a disappointing Queensland Premier Rugby season.

Former Australia Under-20 coach Adrian Thompson will step up to take the reins as head coach of the premier side, with long-time mentor Sean Hedger moving into a director of rugby role to oversee Bond’s senior and colts programs.

Hedger will also coach the club’s premier colts side.

Thompson, an ARU pathways manager, last year helped Hedger at Bond.

Forwards coach Grant Anderson is back while additions to the premier side include backs coach Ray Thomas and ex-Brisbane City National Rugby Championship mentor Rob Seib as defence coach.
