Coles completion to advance Australia Fair

-

THE final stage of Australia Fair’s $25 million refurbishment is nearing completion with a new-look Coles set to officially open on Thursday.

Coles Australia Fair is being turned into a store with a contemporary supermarket layout complete with in-store specialty butchery, seafood and bakery sections.

The new entrance of Coles is already open to the public, while current refurbishment works on the major retailer sees its floor space expand from 3400sq m to 4222sq m in size.

This week’s opening ends Australia Fair’s stage one redevelopment project.

Australia Fair general manager Ramon Otten said the multimillion-dollar redevelopment project had been successful in revitalising the centre.

“We are excited to be nearing completion on final construction works, and look forward to unveiling the newly renovated Coles Australia Fair to shoppers,” Mr Otten (pictured) said.

Mr Otten said works on Australia Fair’s outdoor facade, fronting Scarborough St, will also finish this month.
