Pram dash costly error
A FAMILY man has had his license disqualified for two years after getting caught driving to a pram clearance with an already suspended license for his heavily pregnant partner.
Cameron Stuart Balchin, 28, was caught by police driving in a ute on the Old Pacific Motorway on November 4.
Yesterday the Southport Magistrates Court heard Mr Balchin was driving to pick up the pram because he and his partner were expecting a child and there was a discount sale on.
Mr Balchin, a glazier, was given a $750 fine for driving while disqualified and was further disqualified from driving for another two years.
