Bears help out farmers

A BEACHSIDE footy club is doing its bit to support farmers doing it tough in western Queensland.

Burleigh Bears will host a fundraising night on Thursday with all raffle proceeds going to the Burrumbuttock Hay Run, an initiative delivering semi-trailer loads of hay to farmers in need. The club is also donating $5 from every mixed-grill ‘Farmers Feast’ to the cause this month.
