ARIES MAR 21 - APR 20

One of the many wise things Jonathan taught me was, ‘never to show a fool unfinished work’. It was an adage he did his best to adhere to, and which I’ve done my best to follow. It’s not always easy. The first problem is knowing who is foolish and who isn’t! The second, which is relevant to you today, is how to tell when a project is complete? Knowing when enough is enough requires skill, experience and confidence. You can have the courage of your convictions today.

Make December great! For your month-ahead forecast call 1900 959 005. There’s so much happening this weekend that I thought I’d better start early! There’s a rare Jupiter-Neptune ‘trine’ angle, plus a Full Moon in ‘T-Square’ with Neptune. But today, let’s focus on Mercury turning retrograde. This relatively common phenomenon gives us pause to question assumptions and revisit ideas. Saturn’s presence will help clarify cloudy matters. And with the coming Full Moon representing realisation, plus Jupiter’s wisdom aligned with Neptune’s sensitivity, the fog may not be as thick as we fear.

TAURUS APR 21 - MAY 21

Our attitudes and habits have a lot in common; we don’t notice falling into either of them. They skilfully evolve into our beings, so that we hardly notice that they’ve become a part of who we are. Then, they’re ingrained in our lives, affecting our personalities and lifestyles. We only really become aware of them when we try to change or give them up. That’s when the challenges arise. The cosmos is providing a chance for you to shift your perspective. A transformation can begin.

GEMINI MAY 22 - JUN 22

There’s nothing like BUFTA to highlight our wealth of young filmmaking talent

BOND UNIVERSITY FILM & TELEVISION SCHOOL GRADUATION

Bond University, Robina

BUFTA (Bond University Film and Television Awards) is the largest competition of its kind for high school students in Australia. Entries come from all parts with the Overall Filmmaker, this year Harry Weston from WA, receiving a full scholarship to Bond University. Congrats also to Finn Robinsen from Miami State High and Grace Criss from Tamborine Mountain State High for their category wins. There’s always someone who thinks they have a better way of doing something. They know best. And there are also people who worry about making a mess of things, yet who can appear dogmatic and overconfident. Of course, they’re hiding behind a smokescreen. As Venus prepares to move into your opposite sign, she brings the potential for compromise and comradeship. Relationships are the key to success now. Be subtle in your interactions and don’t fear to speak your mind.

Make December a magical month. For important news call: 1900 959 005.

CANCER JUN 23 - JUL 23

Fairy stories are filled with tales of angry giants and ogres. The one at the top of the beanstalk was particularly loud and shouty. ‘Fe fi fo fum,’ he hollered at poor Jack; and who could blame him for scarpering back down and getting as far away as he could. But was the giant really brave and strong? We tend to imbue big things with powers they don’t always have. Likewise, if people seem to have big powerful plans, we think they have superhuman qualities. Don’t jump to conclusions today.
