Tube spill kills teen

A TEENAGE boy has been killed after he was thrown from an inflatable tube being towed by a jet ski in a river in north Queensland.

The 15-year-old boy was thrown on to a rocky bank on the Ross River at Rasmussen near Townsville yesterday about 1.15pm.

Despite attempts to revive the boy, he died at the scene.
