OUR FUTURE IS IN SAFE HANDS

HERE are some more Gold Coasters making their mark on the world. Nicholas Mclean, Conor Gould, Oliver Thompson, Kimberley Bates, Samantha Wilson and Grace Manahan from Griffith University were all awarded scholarships this week under the New Colombo Plan. We don’t like to favour one but we’ve watched Conor grow up because he is the son of our former editor Dean Gould and his partner Carmel. Conor received a further accolade being named as this year’s China Fellow. The future is in safe hands.
