2020 VISION
PGA Championship set to stay at Royal Pines for three more years
NEW Australian PGA Championship winner Cameron Smith (pictured) has given his tick of approval to the Royal Pines course that is set to host the tournament for a further three years. The PGA of Australia is today expected to announce a new deal which will keep the premier event on the Gold Coast until the end of 2020. Local hero Adam Scott may have disappointed at the PGA but the man tipped to replace him atop Australia’s golfing pile yesterday stepped up to the plate, with Smith beating thirdround leader Jordan Zunic on a second playoff hole.
