Revolution in training

THE Gold Coast welcomes a new hospitality school this month, with students able to learn in imitation bedrooms, kitchens, bars and reception desks.

Located in Southport’s Mercato on Ferry, Founder and CEO Nina Chen said the HETC International Hospitality Management School would revolutionise the way hospitality was taught.

The first of its kind in Australia, the Gold Coast campus will feature a luxurious hotel bedroom and ensuite, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, bars, coffee pod stations and reception desks where students will receive hands-on training.
