A GOLD Coast man has won the key to his fiance’s heart by proposing on one knee – with a keyring.

The now happily engaged man, who does not wish to be named, had the keyring engraved with the words: “will you marry me?”

Jewellery store, Em and Eve Handstamped Keepsakes helped make the keyring but said it was the strangest request they have ever had.

“The gentlemen’s fiance was very happy with it, it is something she will never forget,” owner Naomi Philips said.
