GAINING DIPLOMA

-

IT was a special day for more than 500 Gold Coast students at TAFE Queensland last week when they were awarded with Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications at a ceremony at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.

Qualifications came from across the faculties including Community Service, Health and Nursing, Creative Industries, Business, Services and IT, Language and General Education and Industry Trade Skills.

One by one graduates were welcomed on stage to receive their Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas while family and friends cheered on.

The age range of the students varied greatly; some were being young school leavers, others were mums and dads returning to study.

TAFE Queensland is an official partner of the GC2018 Commonwealth Games and will soon begin training the 15,000 volunteers required to make the Games great.
