Break-in: Man arrested
A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in Queensland following an alleged aggravated break-in at Banora Point on the weekend.
Police will allege a man and a woman broke into the home on Firestone Dr in the early hours of Sunday and threatened a man with a knife before assaulting him and tying him up. He was able to escape and notify authorities.
The woman was allegedly found inside the house.
She was later charged with aggravated break and enter to commit serious indictable offence – inflict actual bodily harm, take/detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage. She appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday.
The man was arrested at a premises in Beenleigh yesterday and is expected to be charged with several offences.
