School for autistic kids

A SCHOOL catering for children with autism and dyslexia has been proposed for Reedy Creek.

A development application has been filed by Linda Osman to convert a site at Bridgman Dr into a small-scale special needs school.

Strive 2 Learn will target children on the autism spectrum and help them learn within a traditional school setting. An existing building will be converted to become the classroom and amenities.

Public comment opens today and will run until January 16.
