CHINESE BURNS TOUGH FOR DUI

-

A FRIEND back from a trip to China has discovered they take driving under the influence (DUI) very seriously.

If you get caught over the limit, go straight to jail for two weeks – do not pass go, do not collect a defence lawyer.

Next the car is impounded and a hefty sum is needed to get it back. Lastly the driver’s licence is suspended and they need to re-sit the exams and start again as a learner with all those pesky restrictions.
