Davis chases PGA dreams

AFTER taking down Jordan Spieth and Jason Day, now rising Australian golf star Cameron Davis is intent on making his mark in America.

The Australian Open champion will compete in the final stage of the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament starting tomorrow. Davis will need a top-45 finish over four rounds in Arizona to boost his status and improve the prospects of ultimately gaining a US PGA Tour card for 2019.

“The ultimate goal is to get on the PGA Tour,” the 22-year-old said.
