No evidence in bikie case

AN alleged Hells Angels bikie and his associate had charges against them dropped because of a lack of evidence yesterday.

Samuel King, who police believe is a bikie member, and co-accused Maureen Nikki Napier were mentioned in Southport Magistrates Court for a slew of weapons, drugs and driving charges.

They were also charged with one count each of possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of a drug offence.

But the court heard there was no evidence for the proceeds of drugs offences so they were dropped.

The other matters were adjourned until February 6, 2018.
